Thermal Spinning Capabilities
In addition to our conventional and CNC metal spinning services, TMS has developed advanced Thermal (Hot) Spinning processes. With our specially modified ST1200 CNC spinning machine, we can safely and efficiently form demanding alloys such as AISI 310S stainless steel as well as aluminium alloys including 1050, 5083, 5186 and 5754.
By heating the blank to the optimum forming range of 400–500 °C and continuously monitoring with infrared thermal sensors, we reduce cracking risks, minimize spring-back, and achieve superior surface quality. This capability allows us to supply durable, high-precision components for aerospace, defense, ventilation, heating, lighting and other industrial sectors where both strength and thermal resistance are essential.
